What is there in common between a human life and a song?

It is not easy to understand human life. There doesn’t seem to be a fixed formula for success. There is no path that can lead a person to their destination. We all seem to have a pretty good idea of what we want in life, but we don’t know how to get there and get what we want. For example, we all want wealth, power, love, happiness, or recognition. Maslow too clearly described the hierarchy of needs that states that we all try to satisfy needs in a hierarchical way, viz. physical needs, security needs, love and belonging needs, esteem, and finally self-fulfillment needs. Some of us can meet some of the needs, but billions of people cannot meet even the basic needs of food, water, clothing, and shelter. Those who are able to satisfy basic needs seem too far removed from satisfying the needs of love, esteem, or happiness.

Therefore, most people find their life to be poor and unsatisfactory. They find a void in their life despite having everything that their lives should have fulfilled. They follow in the footsteps of great people, read all the scriptures by heart, believe in the Almighty, study and recall the latest scientific studies to find some way that will lead them to success and happiness. However, the harder they try, the further they stray from their goal.

Which is the reason?

Why are there no scientific or other methods to know and obtain what we want?

Human life seems to always be a mystery to the human race despite the exponential growth of knowledge in the modern world, where the Internet and Facebook seem to connect all the people of the world with each other.

The mystery of the song

It would be interesting to compare the misery of life with another mysterious reality that we all know as song. The songs are a purely human creation that is filled with music and poetry. Each song is unique like all human life. However, not all songs are beautiful and loved by people.

Each song has four essential characteristics.

  1. Music: The most essential characteristic of a song is the music that is always unique. Song music is often created with the help of many musical instruments that are played in a way that creates harmony or new types of rhythms. The rhythms and harmonies of each song are unique and represent the creativity of the human mind. Music does not seem to follow any logic, nor can it be expressed in words. It seems to echo the thoughts of composers who fuse music with another beautiful creation called poetry. Music, therefore, represents an unknown, invisible and indescribable world. The only method of testing the beauty of music is its appeal to the human heart.
  2. Poetry: The words of the songs are never written in prose, but rather in poetic forms. Poetry has been written since time immemorial and poetry has been found to be the best method of expressing mysteries. All Indian scriptures, including older texts like Vedas, Upanishads, and Gita, were composed into poems. Poems can be seen as a bridge between words written in prose and the rhythm of music. Sometimes poetry is created after the music, but often the music is created after the poem is written. However, when a song is composed, the music and poetry are so mixed together that it is impossible to know which one was created first.
  3. Human characters: Most of the songs are presented with human characters. Indian songs are sung on the screen by the heroes and heroines of the film. Songs are used as an art to dramatize the feelings of the actors and the passage of time has become the most important ingredient in a movie. In the western world, where songs are not part of the movies, songs are often represented in the form of a music album that is created exclusively for the promotion of songs. Therefore, when we listen to a song, the characters used to represent the song in the movie or the music album come alive in our imagination. Even when we don’t know the characters, we often include our own characters in the songs and make the song live for us.
  4. Cultures: The songs are unique to each culture and represent the culture in the most mysterious way. There is hardly a song that can be liked in all cultures. Even the best song from one country may seem boring, bland, or loud to others. Even within the same country, the songs of the older generation are often not liked by the people of the new generation. Similarly, the people of the old generation may not like the songs of the modern generation and prefer to listen to the old “classical” songs. There can be no reason why someone might like a particular song while someone else hates the same song or doesn’t appreciate it. However, that is a reality that cannot be ignored.

The song of life

Human life has a great similarity to a song. First of all, all lives are as unique as a song. Each song has a letter that represents the known world, seen and material that can be written and explained. These are similar to many principles that we know well and that can be expressed in words that can help people understand life. However, there is no guarantee that if we follow the “correct” path / word we will reach the “correct” destination. Because; everything in this world is in a state of flux. Everything is changing. We are even changing. So what worked before will never work another time.

The words of the song must combine with the rhythm of life to create a beautiful song.

You can achieve success and happiness only when you can understand the rhythm of life. The rhythm of life is dynamic and represents the vibrations of humanity. We cannot understand this rhythm with a logical mind. It can only be understood with our soul through the feelings of our heart. When we combine the words of wisdom from scripture and science with the rhythm of life, we create a beautiful life like a song. Therefore, understanding the rhythm of the world is the key to creating a beautiful life.

A beautiful life is like a beautiful song that is full of fresh colors. Human elements and cultural elements are archived in a beautiful life. Therefore, what works for one person does not work for another. Similarly, what works in one culture and one country does not work in another country.

No one can predict a beautiful life like no one can predict a beautiful song. Even the musician and composer can predict which song they will create the next day. No composer can be sure after song creation, if it is a beautiful song. Only when a song is released with the four elements before the world do people decide if the song is really beautiful. A beautiful song melts into the mind and heart of humanity who feel as if the song was created exclusively for them. It is because if it fulfills your aspirations and satisfies your feelings.

Let’s understand this rhythm of life using our heart and make our life beautiful and happy.
