Home Remedies and Natural Methods to Prevent and Fight Cold and Flu

Cold and flu season doesn’t end with winter and low temperatures. You can catch a cold or the flu at any time of the year.

Here are some tips and great natural remedies you can use to prevent the cold or flu, or to successfully combat it if you’ve already caught it:

-Ginger is one of the most effective remedies to prevent or combat colds and flu. Make an infusion. Place a teaspoon of ginger in a glass of boiled water for 20-30 minutes, add honey, if desired, and drink 3-5 times a day. You can also add a green tea to double the effect.

-If you suffer from a cough, make the same infusion as above, but also add cinnamon, freshly squeezed lemon juice and cloves. You can also add fresh mint if you like. Drink this during the day.

-Garlic and onion are well known as “enemies of cold and flu” but you have to know how to prepare them properly. They need to be cut into small pieces and kept open for 10-15 minutes; after this period, they will have full power. You can then add them to your food or put them on the plate and leave it in your room for a day or night. They’ll kill all the bacteria around, protect the atmosphere in your room, and even help you fight off a cold or flu if you’ve already caught it.

-If you do not want to eat, do not exert yourself, your body needs a little rest, even from food continue to drink pure water or tea with fresh lemon juice. However, if you are hungry try something light, for example oatmeal or buckwheat would be a good choice to start with, then consider a CHICKEN SOUP as your next meal. This soup is known as a very powerful substance that fights bacteria and gives energy to those who feel weak after the cold is almost over, helps to recover. Of course I mean NATURAL HOMEMADE CHICKEN SOUP, not from concentrate.

-If you have a runny nose, do not use anything to dry it, that means that your body, your body tries to eliminate toxins and it does it all over your nose. To speed up this process and reduce runny nose, wash your nose and gargle with WARM SALT WATER. Add ¾ of a teaspoon of sea salt to 0.5 l of warm water and use this infusion. You can also add 3 drops of IODINE 5%. Do it every 2 hours and you will be surprised by the results for the next day.

Note: Do not do this procedure before going out, do it while you are at home, the last time you should do it before going to bed.

-The unique and very effective method to help you recover soon is: The use of a DRY MUSTARD POWDER. This method has been used for centuries. At the first signs of a cold or flu, take a dry mustard powder, put it inside your socks, put them on and go to sleep with your socks on. In 2 (two) hours remove your socks. If you are lucky you may wake up the next morning absolutely healthy with no signs of a cold, if you have already caught it the cold may go away much quicker and easier, just keep applying that powder every night for at least three nights. If you can’t find mustard powder, just take some straight alcohol and rub your feet vigorously until you feel warm down there, then immediately put on your socks and go to bed.

Note: If you have any questions or a certain physical condition, please consult your physician before performing any of these procedures.
