“Does Bowflex really work?” is the number one question when it comes to home gyms. The simple answer is … YES, the bowflex really works. The reason I can say this with confidence is because the question “does Bowflex really work” is so vague that it is almost a stupid question. That’s like saying “if I’m sick and I go to see a doctor, does the doctor really work?” Well, it depends on everything. Why did you go to the doctor in the first place? What are you sick of? Let me explain why the bowflex really works and why it doesn’t work as well.

First of all, the people asking if bowflex really works are people who are curious about fitness and have only seen the infomercial or people who are beginners and hit the gym three times a week for an hour, 30 minutes of cardio. 30 minute circuit training type material. Which is fine if that’s your fitness level, but you’re probably asking about what you’ve heard or seen on TV, be careful, don’t get caught up in the hype. The infomercial looks very promising and they have some pretty hot fitness models swearing that this product is the best. That is what they want to know. They want to know if the bowflex can produce what the commercial says, and the answer is simply no. It takes a lifetime commitment to become a fitness model or any type of model, not 20 minutes a day.

What they should be asking themselves is “does bowflex help me get in shape? Lose weight? Tone my body? Make me stronger? Increase muscle mass? Look better? Do I feel better? And the answer!” to all those questions is simply YES! it is an exercise machine that allows you to perform 70-100 different exercises that, if done correctly and consistently, will eventually allow you to achieve all of your fitness goals. It is a tool that can use in the comfort of your home instead of paying to go to a crowded gym and waiting to use all your sweaty machines. That’s the benefit of having a bowflex, it’s the convenience of having all those exercises available on one machine, in a small, compact space like your basement instead of a public gym. So for “Mrs. Marry-Jane stay-at-home mom “who wants to lose weight and get toned, but doesn’t like the intimidation of a public gym, the bowflex is perfect and will work for you. But not if you let it sit and collect dust or hang your clothes on it, you have to do the work.

You want the real answer to the question “Does the Bowflex really work?” Find someone who owns a bowflex and has been using it for a couple of months properly and consistently and ask him if he thinks it really works because it’s not about whether the bowflex works or not, but whether he uses it or not. If you see someone hanging their clothes on a bowflex and you ask them if their hanger has helped them lose weight, then they will probably say “no, don’t waste your money, that thing is rubbish.” Well, your answer is inaccurate. That’s like buying 2 gym memberships at 2 different gyms, going to just one, and then saying the other gym doesn’t even work.
