LG Optimus 4X HD – Elegant design and more

LG won’t let other mobile giants like HTC and Samsung outshine them. In line with today’s powerful smartphones like HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S3, LG introduced its own powerful smartphone. Yes, I am talking about the promising LG Optimus 4X HD.

Now we can say goodbye to powerful dual-core smartphones and hello to extremely powerful quad-core phones. Yes, this year we will all witness the true raw power of a quad-core processor in a smartphone. LG was able to present an extremely powerful phone with a stylish design. In this article, we will talk about the amazing and elegant design of the Optimus 4X HD and its features. Keep reading!

Let’s start by answering the question “why is it elegant?” Although for now there are no official measurements of this phone, what we do know is that it comes with a thickness of only 8.9 mm. For a phone that packs a powerful processor, this one is seriously thin. This is the same as the HTC One X. The Samsung Galaxy S3, on the other hand, is thinner at just 8.6mm. But then again, we are talking about a difference of only 0.3mm. It’s barely noticeable if you ask me.

When it comes to the display, this phone packs a massive 4.7″ HD-IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. It is wide and huge for such a slim phone. It also packs a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and 312 ppi for its pixel density. Again, can you imagine this kind of display on such a slim phone?

So what else is there? Apart from its 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, this phone comes with the latest iteration of Android (Ice Cream Sandwich). It also comes with 16 GB of internal storage and 1 GB of RAM. You can also add up to 32 GB of memory through the phone’s microSD card slot. If that’s not enough, I’m happy to tell you that this phone also comes with a powerful 8 MP (3264 x 2448 pixels) rear camera. You will also get a 1.3MP front facing camera on this phone. Another great advantage is that you can record videos in Full-HD (at 1080 pixels and 30 frames per second).

So overall, you’re going to get a sleek design and a powerful phone if you choose to get the LG Optimus 4X HD.
