The first step that can help you de-stress when talking to others is to listen better. While it’s important to be authentic with yourself, if you really want to take the stress out of your conversation with others, you need to be able to listen to what they have to say without interrupting them or at least giving them a chance to tell you about themselves or their ideas. .

How do you show that you are listening to others when they speak? You can ask questions. Don’t get into a screaming fight. You must have the ability to listen to yourself and others. Ask questions that show you have been listening. This will help you identify the key elements of the situation while ignoring outlandish comments. Use your questions to show empathy instead of skepticism and disdain. When you despise another person’s ideas, they can easily pick up on them and reject them.

The problem with this approach is that it will lead to stress. Stress is not good for your heart, as it can lead to high blood pressure, faster heartbeat, and narrowing of your blood vessels. The worst thing is that stress can make you have sleepless nights. When you feel like you’re getting a good night’s sleep, your body feels like it’s recharging and you get restful sleep. The consequences will be that you can start the next day, moody, forgetful and unable to concentrate at all.

However, if your conversations improve, you’ll have less stress, you’ll have fewer things to regurgitate on your mind, and you’ll find yourself better able to sleep and less stressed. One step that has helped me reduce stress in my conversations is to listen to others without challenging them or making them feel stupid.

The other step that can help you take the stress out of your conversation with others is the ability to make moment-to-moment adjustments. This means that you must be situationally aware when talking to others. When you start talking to someone and find that they are busy, make an adjustment. Don’t insist on continuing your conversations when you see from their body language or what they’re doing that your time isn’t appropriate. If you continue, you will end up with a stressful encounter.

The third step that will help you reduce the stress of your conversation with others is the tone of your voice. Be kind and polite. Speak in a respectful tone of voice. Use words that are sweet to the ears and honey to the heart. Say please.” Say “thank you.” There is an African proverb that says that the snail uses its sweet and soft tongue to climb thorns without hurting itself. And you? If you really want to take the stress out of your conversations with others, you should make sure to speak with respect towards others and towards yourself.
