Is this all there is or is there something more to come?

Take a look at the world around you. Do you think God’s plan is to just let things continue as they are?

Watch the news and watch the story. We see that the same cycle continues over and over again. Each and every day, for thousands of years, people are being born into a world full of evil, sin, corruption, and death.

There are those who believe that the kingdom of God has already arrived and has been established. If that’s the case, can we really say that the world is very different after they arrive? What has changed? The cycle continues. Children are born to face a world of hardship, pain, pain, hunger, pain, sickness, disease, and ultimately death. Since the time of Adam and Eve, death has continued its course.

Some say the reason the world hasn’t changed is because people aren’t doing their part. Some say that if we all just followed the teachings of Christ, everything would be different.

Although I believe that the world would be a better place if every man, woman, and child sought to follow Christ and love each other the best we could … And I believe that, as a result, we would see beautiful fruits, such as the decrease in hunger and the end of the war, we would still have a major problem. That problem is death. As obvious as it may seem, I think a lot of people are overlooking that fact.

Think about it. Even if we all decided to be as Jesus as possible in our interaction with each other … Even if we all decided to eat right, exercise and take our vitamins … Even if we all believed that Christ died for our sins. .. Guess what? Time would continue to advance, each of us would grow old, our bodies would start to wear out, we would get sick, and eventually we would die.

Something has to change! Something else has to happen.

Just as death entered creation, it needs to be eliminated! These mortal bodies that we use must go through a transformation and that is exactly what the apostle Paul tells us will happen one day.

Behold, I tell you a mystery: not all of us will sleep, but we will all be transformed in a moment, in the blink of an eye, at the last trumpet. Because the trumpet will sound and the dead will rise. incorruptible, and we will be transformed. For this corruptible must clothe himself with incorruption, and this mortal must clothe himself with immortality. “(1 Corinthians 15: 51-53)

Praise God that we can live in the hope that one day there will be no more death, no more sadness, no more sickness, no more pain! Praise God that at some point we will all be transformed.
